With refreshing crispness and delightful sweetness, it brings vivid colour and a satisfying crunch to salads and sandwiches. A Little Gem type, each small head is the perfect size for a single salad bowl ensuring plot-to-plate freshness. ‘Volcana’ is ideal for smaller gardens, usefully filling gaps between slower-maturing vegetables and perfect for container-growing on a patio or balcony.
