Leucothoe axillaris ‘Twisting Red’
This eye-catching evergreen shrub has glossy dark green foliage with burgundy coloured stems. The curled leaves of Leucothoe axillaris ‘Twisting Red’ offer texture and colour to borders and containers. In the spring, white flowers bloom, but they are small and unimpressive. This low-spreading, bushy evergreen shrub produces excellent ground cover for acid borders. Height: 50cm (20). Spread: 60cm (24).
