Lilaeopsis brasilensis (Oxygenating Aquatic)
A superb oxygenating aquatic that produces a grassy lawn at the bottom of ponds. Unlike other oxygenators which prefer their leaves above the water, Lilaeopsis brasiliensis will happily grow totally submerged, meaning all the oxygen produced goes into oxygenating the water rather than the air above. A very low maintenance hardy aquatic that, one established, will take care of itself. Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 100cm (39). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 to 60cm (24) below water level.
