Flower spikes of vibrant purple-blue, three-lipped, tube-like blooms appear above purple-tinged deep green foliage from July to September. Lobelia x speciosa ?Fan Blue? is a sturdy and reliable variety which requires very little maintenance and thrives in sun or semi shade. This Cardinal Flower will add a splash of colour to bog gardens and moist borders as well as thriving beside ponds. The flowers will be adored by butterflies and makes an excellent cut flower to enjoy indoors. Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 30cm (12). Please note: All parts are toxic. The milky sap can irritate skin.
