An award winning herbaceous perennial which will add height and interest to sunny, well-drained borders, attracting plenty of butterflies and bees to your garden. Lychnis coronaria boasts a profusion of striking, magenta blooms which appear upon slender, wiry stems and contrast beautifully with the silver-grey foliage throughout the summer. Low maintenance and simple to grow, this rose campion is ideal for cottage gardens and patio containers and will bloom for longer if deadheaded regularly. Although this perennial is short-lived it will self-seed to create magnificent self-sustaining drifts. Height: 80cm (31in). Spread: 45cm (18in).
