A rare and exciting find thought to be a regional sport of M. sprengeri var. diva, Magnolia ?Fire? is a unique variety ideal for any magnolia collector. This multi-stemmed shrub has a tree-like habit which bears striking pink blooms in April and May. Unlike the majority of other magnolias, the flowers hold the colour on both sides of the petal, even the innermost ones, to create a magnificent, bold colour display. Height: 4.5m (15ft). Spread:2.5m (8ft).
