A rare and exciting chance seedling of the wonderful Magnolia ?Encore?, ?Pink Perfection? is a loebneri-type variety that is just as floriferous as its parent. Producing a mass of long, elegant petals which form starry flowers that appear on bare stems and exude a beautiful fragrance. Each bloom boasts an astonishing 42-48 lilac-pink petals which open in succession throughout April and May to create a long-lasting display. Magnolia ‘Pink Perfection’ will gradually form a small tree or large shrub with a bushy, rounded habit making it perfect for smaller gardens. Excellent for growing as a container specimen in a sheltered spot. Height and spread: 2-5m (8-15ft).
