Magnolia x brooklynensis ‘Yellow Bird’ is a splendid Magnolia that is large and conical in shape. If grown in neutral to acidic soil in a sheltered position, Magnolia x brooklynensis ‘Yellow Bird’ will endure sun and part shade. It has lemon-yellow goblet-shaped flowers that appear in late spring, as the leaves arise. The foliage is dark green and contrasts well with the flowers, turning yellowy brown in autumn. Height: 5m (16′). Spread: 3m (10′).
