A handy oxygenating aquatic that thrives in shallow pond margins. Marsilea quadrifolia produces four lobed, clover-like foliage which rises above the water or floats on the surface, providing excellent shelter for wildlife. The leaves tend to be green but may transform to bronze if grown in full sun Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 100cm (39). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 15cm (6) below water level.
