Description
Narcissus ‘Thalia’
A classic and enduringly popular white daffodil, Narcissus ‘Thalia’ boasts a graceful form and delicate scent combined with a tough constitution. The multi-headed stems carry ivory white flowers with a prominent trumpet and slender outer petals that are slightly reflexed, creating a simple and refined silhouette. It looks wonderful paired with tulips or used on its own, meandering through woodland-type borders in partial shade where it illuminates understorey plantings. It readily naturalises to form large drifts through borders or grass and is equally well suited to pot planting. A little later to flower than other daffodil varieties, ‘Thalia’ usefully fills the gap between spring bulbs and the start of summer perennials. Height: 45cm (18”). Spread: 15cm (6”).
