Nymphaea ‘Black Princess’
This highly sought-after, award-winning waterlily boasts the deepest maroon flowers around. Throughout summer, Nymphaea ?Black Princess? will add a tropical touch to water gardens with its large peony-like flowers that measure 12-15cm across. The dark maroon blooms will deepen to almost-black and the fresh leaves emerge burgundy, complimenting the colour of the blooms before they change to dark green. The flowers stay open for longer than many other varieties and have a gentle scent. An excellent choice for medium-sized ponds. Depth of water: 40-70cm (15in-28in). Spread: 120cm (48in).
