Pansy ‘Tasty’ F1 Hybrid
As with most Viola’s, the beautiful blooms of Pansy ‘Tasty’ are perfectly edible. This hardy perennial has been chosen specifically for its aromatic flowers that have a subtle, sweet and peppery flavour. A wonderful way to decorate puddings and cakes, as well as using on savoury tarts and adding to salads. Alternatively, use Pansy ‘Tasty’ to decorate a cheese platter or freeze them into ice cubes to add to your favourite tipple. Height and spread: 23cm (9). Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. The crystallised petals are great decorations for cakes and cookies, or they can be added straight to green salads for an injection of colour.
