Its gleaming green grassy, full foliage is noticeably replaced by gleaming spikelet?s and look incredibly similar in appearance to a Squirrels tail! Pennisetum compressum is virtually maintenance free, it is easy to grow and enjoys thriving in direct sunlight. Pennisetum Alopecuroides makes a stunning specimen plant, it is highly decorative and creates a fantastic focal point in any sized garden. It spreads to around 120cm and grows in height to around 150cm, it is commonly used as superb ground cover and would also sit well in a cottage garden.
