Penstemon ‘Garnet’
Penstemon ‘Garnet’ is a robust variety that makes an impression in perennial gardens and exotic, hot-coloured borders. Like all Penstemons, it attracts pollinating insects. The vertical stems above a clump of narrow-leaved foliage are adorned with deep wine-red, bell-shaped flowers. Although it is commonly sold as Penstemon ‘Andenken a Friedrich Hahn,’ the classier name of Penstemon ‘Garnet’ appears to be far more informative. Height: 75cm (30). Spread: 60cm (24).
