Rich blue, bell-shaped flowers bear purple tinged throats that intermittently show pinker in certain conditions. Penstemon heterophyllus ?Heavenly Blue? is a tough, hardy perennial with a mound forming habit, perfect for attracting an array of beneficial insects to the garden. The blue-green semi-evergreen leafy stems make this a fantastic plant for placing at the front of a border, requiring only light pruning in autumn. Height and spread: 50cm (20). In some conditions, the purple throats of the bell shaped flowers can appear pinker.
