Phillyrea angustifolia
Phillyrea angustifolia is an excellent evergreen shrub that copes well in salty airs and loves light, sandy soils, making it perfect for difficult coastal areas. Slender, leathery, deep green foliage is decorated with scented, cream-white blooms in May and June which are followed by small black berries. An attractive stand-alone specimen that can also be pruned into a hedge. Height: 300cm (118). Spread: 200cm (78).
