Physocarpus opulifolius Diable d’Or is a stunning deciduous shrub with bright red new growth that changes to a richer, darker shade as it ages. In summer clusters of dainty white flowers are borne creating a wonderful contrast with the vibrant foliage. These are followed in autumn by glossy red seed heads lasting well into autumn. Ideal as a specimen plant in a sunny border. Height 100-150cm.
