This award-winning conifer is favoured for its attractive foliage colour, form and versatility. Picea omorika ‘Nana’ is a dwarf variety with a rounded habit when young before maturing into a broad, bushy pyramid. needles are broad and light blue before transforming to deep glossy green with a silvery underside to create a shimmering bicoloured display. The tips of the branches may bear small, egg-like cones. A low maintenance and versatile spruce that tolerates clay, sand and alkaline soils. Particularly useful for providing evergreen structure in small gardens. Mature height: 3m (8ft). Maximum spread 1.5m (5ft).
