Platycerium bifurcatum is an unusual but fascinating fern with antler-shaped leaves. The foliage is flat with heavily forked mature leaves that can reach astonishing sizes. In order to fully experience the typical staghorn fern, which grows on tree branches in the wild, it is best viewed at eye level. This RHS Garden Merit Award winner is suitable for both children and pets.
