This heirloom variety is absolutely delicious! Plum ‘Beauty’ is a tasty and abundant Japanese plum that ranks among the best early varieties in flavour. By mid-July, plum ‘Beauty’ had produced abundant crops of bright red, amber-fleshed fruit, which is much sooner than that of other types. The medium-sized fruits have a distinctive flavour that is incredibly sweet and mildly acidic. Harvesting period: Early (July) Uses: Dessert Plum rootstock: St. Julien – Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 4.5m (14′) Pollination Group: 4 Self fertile. Does not require a pollination partner. Please note that, as a Japanese plum, this variety is unable to pollinate other plums. Estimated time to cropping once planted: 2 years.
