Plum ‘Seneca’ is a very tasty dessert plum variety that extends the season by ripening fully in mid September. Fruits are red skinned with vibrant yellow-orange flesh that tastes great cooked or eaten fresh. Flesh of Plum ‘Seneca’ simply falls off the stone, for easy eating. Plum rootstocks: VVA1 – Dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2m (6′,6) Ferlinane – Semi dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5m (8′) St. Julien – Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 4.5m (14′) This variety is self-fertile and does not require a pollination partner.
