Polemonium caeruleum produces clumps of sparse, ladder-like foliage, earning its name ?Jacob’s Ladder?. In May and June, tall, erect stems holding clusters of nodding, bell-like white blooms with golden-yellow stamens will create a cheery display. A delightful choice for semi-shaded borders, woodland areas or for planting beneath deciduous trees and shrubs.
