An elegant-looking perennial with attractive ferny foliage in deep purple-bronze which will transform to dark green later in the year. Polemonium yezoense ?Purple Rain? boasts clusters of light blue-purple blooms upon vertical stems in June. This Jacob’s ladder will thrive in moist, fertile soils and will seed about to naturalise in woodland areas and borders as well as making an excellent cut flower. Height: 60cm (24in). Spread: 45cm (18in).
