Pontederia cordata ‘Alba’ is an attractive white form of the common Pickerel Weed, with a shorter, more compact habit. The glossy, heart-shaped leaves form dense clumps of attractive foliage. Throughout summer, short, upright spikes of starry white flowers appear, standing out nicely against the backdrop of handsome, green leaves. This hardy perennial makes an excellent marginal aquatic for adding structure to pond planting schemes. Height: 70cm (27). Spread: 60cm (24).
