Quercus ilex
Quercus ilex, commonly known as Holm Oak, is an evergreen tree that produces pretty, but tough foliage, joined by shiny little acorns through the season. So easy to grow and maintain, it is very good for coastal areas and hedging where it will be exposed. Tolerates drought and pollution well, while being suited for growing in sun or shade. Height as full-size specimen tree: 25m (80′). Spread: up to 20m (70′).
