Ranunculus aquatilis (Oxygenating Aquatic)

Ranunculus aquatilis, also known as Common Water Crowfoot, is a highly effective submerged oxygenator, thriving in both still and flowing water. Its thread-like submerged foliage contrasts beautifully with the lobed or palmate leaves that float on the water?s surface. From early summer, it produces delicate white buttercup flowers, adding a charming touch to the water’s surface. As a native British perennial, it plays an important role in oxygenating ponds, lakes, and streams. Height: 5cm (2). Spread: 100cm (39). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2, and 3, up to 30cm (12) below water level.
