Ranunculus lingua ‘Grandiflorus’ (Marginal Aquatic)

Ranunculus lingua ‘Grandiflorus’, also known as Greater Spearwort, is a striking British native that thrives in the margins of ponds and waterways. This hardy perennial features blue-green foliage and forms loose clumps, making it perfect for softening and disguising pond edges. From June to August, tall stems bear vibrant golden buttercup flowers, attracting a variety of pollinators. Greater Spearwort is an excellent choice for larger wildlife ponds, lakes, and streams where it can spread freely. Height and spread: 100cm (39). Planting depth: Zones 2 and 3, up to 30cm (12) below water level. As plant size varies by season, we list by pot size rather than specific dimensions, so the height and spread upon arrival may differ from the seasonal images provided.
