Raspberry ‘Malling Promise’
The Raspberry Malling Promise offers an early summer harvest of large, firm, and delicious fruits, typically beginning in late June or early July. This variety features bushy, spiny canes with strong growth, making it well-suited to a range of soil types, including poorer soils. It reaches a height of approximately 150 cm (59 inches) and a spread of around 50 cm (20 inches). All of our raspberries undergo rigorous inspection by the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure they are free from pests and diseases, and are certified for quality. The bare-root plants are carefully selected and hand-graded before being packed. Expected time to first crop after planting: 4-8 months. For optimal yields, it takes approximately 16-20 months.
