Description
Rhododendron ‘Gibraltar’ (Azalea Group)
Rhododendron ‘Gibraltar’ is a RHS AGM variant that is quite spectacular and makes a wonderful shaded acid border plant. This deciduous Exbury hybrid belongs to the well-known Azalea group. The vivid orange blossoms with dramatic ruffled borders and a flash of yellow are ablaze with colour in May. It is robust, like all Azaleas, and thrives in a chilly, north-facing location. Height and spread: 120 cm (48).
