Rhododendron ‘Marie Fortie’
Rhododendron ‘Marie Fortie’ is a robust plant that spreads widely. Its lustrous, dark green, velvety leaves stay green all year, providing a great background for summer flowering perennials. Late spring and early summer bring trusses of enormous, deep pink funnel-shaped blooms with dark purple markings in the throat. On ericaceous soils, this plant is ideal for a woodland garden or planting in mixed borders. Height: 150cm (5′). Spread: 2m (6′).
