Rhubarb Goliath
Rhubarb ‘Goliath’ is a prolific mid- to late-season variety, once established yielding a whopping 5kg of delicious stems per crown! Tender and stringless, the thick stalks have excellent flavour and a beautiful red colour. This heavy-cropping and versatile variety is easy to grow and suitable for forcing. RHS AGM. Height and spread: 100cm (39in). Taken from established crowns, these budded pieces will quickly mature, resulting in crowns big enough to harvest from 2 years after planting. Caution: rhubarb leaves and uncooked stalks are harmful if eaten.
