Rhubarb (Rheum) Raspberry Red produces vibrant pink coloured, tender stems that bare a delightfully sweet taste, ready to harvest early in the season. A vigorous grower, this autumn planting variety does not need any forcing to encourage high quality crops. Raspberry Red is a superb dessert rhubarb, delicious added to crumbles, pies or simply stewed and eaten fresh or with your favourite custard! After two years of planting you will see ready to harvest crowns. Budded pieces supplied taken from established crowns to speed up the maturity process. Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 120cm (48).
