A vigorous and sturdy perennial which is well known for its superb free-flowering ability and is ideal for heavy soils which stay moist in the summer. Rudbeckia fulgida var. deamii will swiftly spread to create drifts of sunshine yellow daisies with a brown central cone, held upon rigid stems above hairy, deep green foliage. A great choice for providing colour to your borders from July to October and looks very effective paired with violet asters and grasses. This coneflower is adored by butterflies and once the flowers have faded, finches will enjoy the beautiful seed heads. Height: 60cm (24?). Spread: 45cm (18?).
