Sagina subulata
This elegant Irish Moss flowers from June until August and creates a fantastic carpet for ground covering. It produces bundles of small white blooms, that sit neatly upon a compact, dense growing mound of fresh green foliage. It works wonders in rockeries, low maintenance and cottage themed landscapes, as well as softening the front of borders, crevices and pathways. It will thrive in semi shade and progress in height to a maximum of 10cm, along with a spread of 30cm.
