Salvia ‘Amistad’
The Salvia ‘Amistad’ variation is a stunning addition to the Salvia family. This one is no exception. Ornamental sage has long been a staple of cottage garden borders. On top of a mound of luxuriant green foliage, magnificent, rich purple flowers are held on tall, near-black stems. It also works well in exotic planting schemes and wildlife gardens. This wonderful, robust perennial can bloom almost constantly from May to October with frequent deadheading, drawing a swarm of bees and butterflies throughout the season. Height: 120 cm (48). Spread: 50cm (20).
