Salvia nemorosa ‘Ostfriesland’
Salvia nemorosa ‘Ostefriesland’ is a reliable hardy perennial for creating a bright focal point at the front of borders. This bushy, clump forming plant produces masses of violet blue flower spikes in summer above its sage-green, aromatic foliage. Awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, this Balkan Clary is always popular with bees and other pollinators, but tends to be deer and rabbit resistant. A useful choice for cottage garden planting schemes, as well as gravel gardens and urban courtyards. Height: 45cm (18). Spread: 45cm (18).
