Sambucus racemosa ‘Sutherland Gold’ grows well requiring very little maintenance, providing very elegant bright golden foliage. White blooms emerge in summer, followed by elderberries later in the season for birds to feast on. Sambucus racemosa ‘Sutherland Gold’ is easy to prune and look after, resisting sun-scorch surprisingly well, even when grown in full sun. Ideal for a hedging plant or a feature in large patio pots. Height and spread: 2.5m (8.2′).
