Saxifraga arendsii ‘Mossy Purple’
Saxifraga x arendsii ?Mossy Purple? creates low, mossy cushions of vibrant green foliage which are covered in a profusion of upward-facing, deep red blooms throughout April and May. A mound-forming variety which looks particularly effective tumbling over shady walls, planted in rock crevices, or cushioning the edges of moist borders. It also makes a superb specimen in an alpine trough or clay pot. Height and Spread: 25cm (10?).
