Sophora microphylla ?Sun King? matures into a bushy, evergreen shrub with long branches smothered in beautiful pinnate leaves. From mid-winter and through spring, dainty racemes of pendulous buds open to reveal vibrant yellow, bell-like blooms with 5cm long anthers. Sophora microphylla ?Sun King? is reliably hardy in the UK but will need to be grown in a sheltered spot to perform to its full potential.
