This interesting shrub, blooms from June until October and is commonly known as Lamb?s Ear. It produces masses of furry, silver leaflets, that grow in a dense form, along with bundles of upright flower spikes, that soon become smothered in tiny purple blooms. A great perennial for attracting wildlife and supressing weeds, be sure to plant up in Mediterranean themed outdoor spaces, along with alpine, low maintenance and cottage gardening schemes. An instant eye-catcher, this Stachys will create a vibrant focal point wherever placed and will progress in direct sunlight to a maximum height and spread of 50cm.
