You’ll never want to buy supermarket strawberries again once you’ve tasted the flavour and long cropping of this supercharged early season strawberry! ‘Vibrant’ produces medium to large conical fruits that are beautifully uniform. The berries are glossy and brilliant red, and they are carried on strong, upright, flowering stems. A large number of flowering trusses are produced in succession, resulting in cropping over a long period of time. Each truss only has 4 to 5 flowers, resulting in a larger fruit. Plants produce from May to June, with a second crop in September beginning in the second year. ‘Vibrant’ was the highest-rated flavour selection in Horticultural Development Council trials.
