Sunflower ‘Astra Rose’ is a unique variety with a distinctive flower form and colour. Semi-double flowers with slender ray florets surround a fluffy chocolate centre. The petals emerge in soft cream before transforming into apricot/pink creating a subtle, vintage palette that is perfect for that cottage garden look. A multi-branching sunflower, Helianthus annuus ‘Astra Rose’ produces lots of heads over a much longer season than single stem types – just keep up with the dead-heading.
