Taxus x media (Taxus) The columnar, upright shrub ‘Hillii’ has dense, bushy branches. Because of its neat habit and evergreen foliage, it is an excellent choice for creating hedges and screens. It is a little tougher than the common Yew, T. baccata, and does well in cold, exposed areas. The pointed, dark green foliage turns a pleasing gold in autumn, providing a welcome seasonal change. Perfect for adding structure and colour to your garden all year. Height: to 1.8m (6′). Spread: to 1.5m (5′).
