Thuja occidentalis ‘Degroot’s Spire’ produces dense, evergreen foliage and has a graceful columnar habit that will reach up to 6 metres in height once mature but remains wonderfully slender. In autumn, the foliage takes on subtle purple hues and occasionally has a layered spiralling effect which gives it additional charm. Thuja occidentalis ‘Degroot’s Spire’ makes an excellent choice for planting as an avenue along a straight driveway or a great specimen tree. Height: 6m (20′). Spread: 1.5m (5′).
