Description
Tradescantia rubra
A handy border plant with interesting three-petalled blooms which burst into colour throughout the summer, amongst tall, sword-like evergreen foliage. Tradescantia ‘Rubra’ bears large, bright purple flowers with yellow stamens appearing on arching stems from June to September. This spider lily has a clump-forming habit which will happily grow in semi-shade in most soil types. Height: 60cm (24in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
