Description
Tradescantia virginiana
A handy border plant with interesting three-petalled blooms which burst into colour throughout the summer, amongst tall, sword-like evergreen foliage. Tradescantia virginiana bears blue-purple flowers with yellow stamens appearing on arching stems from May to July. This spider lily has a clump-forming habit which will happily grow in semi-shade in most soil types. Height: 75cm (30in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
