Tree Peony ‘Hohki’ is a vigorous and robust shrub that boasts giant, lightly scented, semi-double blooms in early May. The vivid red flowers have eye-catching gold stamens which make a superb focal point. Height:120-150cm (4-5ft). Spread: 90-120cm (3-4ft). Very few shrubs can beat the charm of tree peonies. Easy to grow and ideal for a sheltered, sunny or semi-shaded position in fertile, free-draining soil. Tree peonies are fully hardy, won’t need regular pruning and show excellent resistance to disease and pests. They will reward you with masses of giant, gently scented flowers in late spring/early summer for decades!
