Tulbaghia violacea (Marginal Aquatic)
Commonly known as Society Garlic due to its slender, greyish-green foliage that produces a strong garlic aroma. Tulbaghia violacea is an award-winning perennial with stiff, vertical stems of pastel violet blooms from July, which become especially free-flowering near the end of the summer and into autumn. A hardy, semi-evergreen variety that will add wonderful texture and colour to the garden in the winter. Tulbaghia violacea is perfect for shallow pond margins, bog gardens and damp borders. Height: 60cm (24). Spread: 30cm (12). Planting depth: Zone 1 to 1cm below water level.
