Typha laxmannii (Marginal Aquatic)
Smaller than our native Typha latifolia, this attractive Bulrush is an elegant species. The fox blooms are borne on slender stems from July to September, turning to fluffy seed heads that remain attractive throughout the winter months. Typha laxmannii is less vigorous than some species and better suited to medium to large ponds. Height and spread: 150cm (59). Planting depth: Zones 2 and 3 to 30cm (12) below water level.Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size.
