Verbena officinalis var. grandiflora ‘Bampton’ produces eye-catching purple-green stems that are decorated with dainty flower spikes of very small lilac-pink blooms all summer long. As it matures, this Vervain will form a spreading, airy mound that makes an excellent choice for cottage gardens, sunny borders and gravel areas. ‘Bampton’ will add an informal, naturalised feel wherever it is planted and shows good drought tolerance once established, coping well in coastal areas. Height: 100cm (39). Spread: 60cm (24).
